About St. Anthony's Learning Center

Teaching children in a loving environment, according to Gospel values

Where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to grow.

The Learning Center at St. Anthony of Padua is committed to teaching children in a loving environment according to Gospel values. We believe that one of our most basic responsibilities is to promote Christian values for the good of every individual and for all of society. The Learning Center believes that children are unique individuals who develop at independent rates in a nurturing, supportive setting.

Our faith foundation

Rooted in faith, welcoming to all

TLC is affiliated with St. Anthony of Padua Church and, as such, recognizes and celebrates the traditional holidays of the Catholic faith. Children enrolled at TLC need not be Catholic to attend.

We make every effort to respect and recognize the observances of all backgrounds represented at our center. We strive to provide an atmosphere of Christian love โ€” and in doing so, we say prayers before snacks and meals at TLC.

What we nurture

Growing persons of character ๐ŸŒŸ

We help each child build character traits through everyday play and learning.

Sharing Caring Working Together Respect Truth Trust
Our Philosophy & Curriculum

Hands-on learning, rooted in real life

Child-directed, teacher-facilitated

A center-based curriculum rich in hands-on experiences that connect directly to real life.

Readiness skills

Activities help each child develop language, reading, writing, and math skills appropriate to their stage of development.

Themes of self, family, community & God's world

Themed learning gives children meaningful ways to understand themselves and the world around them.

We believe children become persons of character when families, schools, churches, and organizations work together to both model and teach these qualities.

Our parish home

Part of the St. Anthony of Padua family

The Learning Center makes its home with St. Anthony of Padua parish in Endicott, New York. That connection shapes everything we do โ€” from the Gospel values woven through our day to the warm, family-centered spirit families feel the moment they walk in.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, children are walked to St. Anthony of Padua Church on Odell Avenue, where families are reunited following our pick-up procedures.
