Registration Fee$85One-time, non-refundable; payable before the child's first day. A new fee applies after any separation from TLC longer than six months.
Summer Camp Activity Fee$90Non-refundable; charged each summer to cover swimming, field trips, a logo t-shirt, and special events.
Late Tuition Fee$20 / weekAdded when weekly tuition is not paid within the week it is due.
Late Pick-Up Fee$20For pick-up after the scheduled closing time. More than 30 minutes past closing may result in TLC notifying local authorities.
Returned Check Fee$20Per returned check. After more than two in a calendar year, payments must be made by cash, credit card, or money order.
Vacation Care Late Sign-Up$15 / childIf not signed up by the posted sign-up deadline.

Good to know Discounts & Billing Policies

Multiple Child Discount2 or more children enrolled in the same program = 10% off the total bill (Pre-School OR School's Out Program). 1 or more children in one program and 1 or more in another = 10% off the School's Out Program charge only.
Medically Certified AbsenceAbsences beyond 5 consecutive school days are billed at a 50% reduction beginning on the 6th day of absence, until the child is medically certified to return.
Withdrawal NoticeTwo weeks' written notice is required; two weeks' tuition is charged regardless of attendance.
Payment MethodsCash, check, credit/debit card, or money order. Automated payments are available through Tuition Express.

Tuition is generally billed weekly; each program's exact due dates are listed in the handbook's Tuition section (see Parent Resources).

  • Morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for preschoolers (lunch is included in half-day & full-day tuition)
  • Afternoon snack for school-age children
  • Research-based curriculum (Zoo Phonics, Pocket of Preschool, social-emotional learning)
  • Learning centers: math & literacy, dramatic play, STEM/science, sensory, character education
  • Daily outdoor play and faith-filled, hands-on learning

Children bring a lunch on Vacation & Snow Day Care days, when lunch is not provided.

5 steps How to enroll

  1. Visit TLC and pick up a registration packet (enrollment is first-come, first-served; a waiting list is kept when programs are full).
  2. Complete the packet: registration form, NYS Day Care Registration (Blue Card), current physical & updated shot record (preschool), transportation form (school-age), and OCFS healthcare & allergy forms.
  3. Return the completed forms — incomplete packets are returned for completion before enrollment.
  4. Pay the one-time, non-refundable $85 registration fee before your child's first day.
